American Ginseng (Panax Quinqufolius) was a native plant growing wild in certain parts of North America. Because of its known medicinal uses, which date back hundreds to thousands of years, it was harvested and exported by the colonists to the point of near extinction. Now, it's an endangered species and farmed almost exclusively in Southwestern Ontario, where our fertile soil and clean air produce a premium-quality product.

Native Ginseng is a family-owned, small business retailer of locally sourced American Ginseng, which we purchase directly from King Lake Farms in Ontario, Canada.
