I am Kimberly Cardinal, founder of White Bear Rising. I was raised on reserve in a family deeply rooted in hunting and living off the land, where I learned the values of resilience, respect, and self-reliance. My professional journey began as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), providing hands-on care and support, and has since evolved into a focus on addiction and community health. Combining my cultural upbringing with years of healthcare experience, I am dedicated to creating land-based, trauma-informed programs that promote healing, wellness, and empowerment for Indigenous communities.
